In the last few years, we’ve built an incredible brand with great products, passionate customers, and impressive reach via digital marketing channels. Now at a critical time of growth, we are looking for a freelance Graphic Designer to join our growing digital team!

This role will be a temp to perm position, reporting into the VP of Growth.

 

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for an experienced Graphic Designer to join our digital team and lead the effort in all creative aspects. As the team member who will be responsible for maintaining Alala's branding across all channels, the Graphic Designer role is a critical part of the organization’s mission to engage our amazing community. As a part of our digital team, you will operate cross-functionally, touching all creative areas of the business, and report directly to our VP of Growth.

 

Roles and Responsibilities

Create digital assets including homepage and email layouts.

Work on the development and output of marketing assets.

Work on print requirements - look books, in-store signage, packaging, brand book, product knowledge decks, etc.

Assist the eCommerce team with collateral updates across the site.

Assist with graphics, layouts, and imagery for social media channels.

Organize and archive all visual and graphic assets.

Assist with any presentation needs and other projects as assigned to the department.

Maintain creative consistency across multiple brand channels. 

 

Background and Experience

A degree in graphic design or professional training in graphic design is mandatory.

A portfolio that features the most recent body of work.

Experience in Shopify and Klaviyo is strongly preferred.

Previous experience at a fashion brand or creative agency is preferred.

Skilled in digital design (email newsletters, homepage layouts, landing pages, digital advertising, and user experience).

Skilled in video editing with an understanding of digital animation.

Strong interest and/or skilled in photography and photo editing.

Highly proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, AfterEffects, Lightroom.

Excellent time management skills, organized and with the ability to multitask and prioritize as needed.

Takes direction well, while also having the ability to work independently.

Ability to work under tight deadlines.
