Social Media Coordinator

What we’re looking for:

  • A passion for fashion, wellness and marketing
  • A skill for storytelling through digital avenues
  • Ability to develop an eye for Alala aesthetics and writing for social media
  • A desire to convert consumers into brand advocates and loyalists
  • An organized and structured thinker who can see projects through from idea to execution
  • An outgoing well rounded communicator for client and influencer facing interactions
  • An ability to derive insights using data that can be leveraged to create revenue and brand value
  • An exceptional attitude and drive to succeed as well as the ability to wear many hats

 

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Reporting + Documentation
    • Develop robust weekly + monthly social reporting
    • Present Weekly + Monthly statistics to executive team
    • Develop best practices documentation for Alala’s social accounts
    • Meet social growth goals while also increasing engagement of following
  • Social Content
    • Plan posts, messaging, and content for social channels with executive team (get sign off from all)
    • Post on FB and IG every day
    • Post on Pinterest once a week
    • Concept and post IG stories 5 days a week
    • Promptly answer all DMs, FB messages and comments
    • Create content for IG/Social use (layflats etc.)
    • Attend all events to document for social
  • Influencer Partnerships
    • Work with eCommerce Director to execute at least 1 influencer campaign per quarter
    • Manage + maintain influencer list
    • Actively recruit new Influencers from databases or from IG itself
    • Execute a monthly gifting + return of images for use on Alala digital channels

 

Background and experience:

  • 2-3 Years with social media experience; High proficiency in Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest
  • Undergraduate degree from a four-year college
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
  • Excellent project management skills and ability to work within time constraints
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics is a plus
  • Knowledge of videography and video editing aplus
